Terms of Service

PopupShop provides a Shopify app and embeddable widget that let you showcase and sell products anywhere online. By installing the app, connecting your store, or using the widget, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

1. Using PopupShop

You must have an active Shopify store in good standing and be at least 18 years old. You remain responsible for your store’s account credentials, Shopify fees, and compliance with Shopify’s platform policies. We may update the app or widget at any time without notice to improve performance or security.

2. Merchant responsibilities

  • Only publish accurate, lawful, and non-infringing content.
  • Honor your own customer terms, fulfillment obligations, and applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Configure the widget securely, including the Storefront API token Shopify issues to your store.
  • Maintain policies (such as privacy and returns) that apply to shoppers who buy through PopupShop.

3. Fees and payment

PopupShop may charge subscription or usage fees as described in-app or in your Shopify billing agreement. All fees are billed through Shopify, are non-refundable, and exclude applicable taxes. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

4. Data and privacy

We process information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. When shoppers interact with your widget, you act as the merchant of record, and we process their data on your behalf. You must obtain any consents required under privacy or marketing laws that apply to your store.

5. Acceptable use

  • No illegal, deceptive, or harmful activity.
  • No attempts to probe or disrupt PopupShop infrastructure.
  • No resale, sublicensing, or reverse engineering of the app.
  • Do not use PopupShop to collect payment information outside of Shopify’s checkout or in violation of card network rules.

6. Intellectual property

PopupShop and all related trademarks, logos, and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app solely to operate your Shopify store. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

PopupShop is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to PopupShop in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for lost profits, revenues, or indirect damages.

8. Termination

You may uninstall the app at any time, which terminates these Terms except for provisions that should survive (such as payment obligations and liability limitations). We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, Shopify rules, or applicable law.

9. Changes and contact

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version at this URL. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you have questions, contact us at support@getpopup.shop.
